We do every couple of years or so its called an election.

The last presidential election was participated in by about 30% of those eligible to vote. Pretty pathetic huh? To put that into perspective more people vote for the American Idol than did for the last president.

If you are don't like the way things are going, or if you do like them you need to make your thoughts known at the ballot box.

Get your friends involved until people get off their asses and participate nothing is going to change either way.

The good news is we don't have to physically get together. We now have blogs, like mine http://gemsperspective.blogspot.com and many many other progressive and conservative blogs that get the message out.

Trust and believe there are FBI and CIA and DOD analysts looking at these blogs under the national surveillance act. Bloggers are becoming a reckoning force for this administration and the sychophant Republican congress. Write a blog, I guarantee they will look at it. Its also theraputic.

You're right, most politicians are lawyers also & all they care about is complicating everything so they can make even more money. It's no longer a government for or by the people. It's a few rich A$$HOLES taking advantage of the people & the system they created. They are supposed to be public servants, but they only serve themselves.

I think we should do away with the party system.

You vote for the person.

Then congress can quit worrying about party lines and do what is right for a change.
