A PowerPoint file is typically a .ppt file. However, a viewer of your website will only be able to view the file with a program that can open this file, such as Power Point, Power Point Viewer, or Open Office Impress.

The MS Powerpoint file extension is .ppt so if your filename is webpresentation the complete file name should be webpresentation.ppt You should be able to link to that file name with your web software.
