I agree with you and just about everyone else that Smith is the real deal. Smith is some one who makes different types of plays and changes the game from kickoff to the final gun. Moss is more of a Desiginated hitter or a specialist . Used only to get a home run when needed. Santanna isnt even the best Moss in the league. Randy , though and down year last year, is still the better Moss. So sleep easy as you are wise to see Smith as the better WR .

Steve Smith made Jake Delhomme and the completely injury-plagued running back corp look good.
Santana Moss may have a terrible QB, but at last Washington was able to take some pressure off of him with Portis.

STEVE SMITH
Moss is good, but Smith it somebody you can build a team around, and Carolina did that last year very well, but this year Smith has some help so his numbers will drop, but he'll be just as consistent and just as frightening for a corner to line up against, he's a demon out there.
Moss is much of the same as Smith, but I just don't see him as being at the same level as Smith, but this might be because I'm a Carolina fan, who knows.

yeah, Steve Smith is a special player. hes only 5 foot 10 inches, but last year he smoked every team he played, he racked up 200 plus receiving yards against one of the top defenses in the league, the Bears in the draft. Moss is decent but the two aren't evn on the same level!

Very good question....most likely SMITH...but I believe Carolina will try to run the ball even more this year (note Williams their #1)
Washington picked up Randal El and Lloyd...with Moss too...alot of guys looking for ball....but they could be using the pass to set the running game up....so Smith is still the go to guy now unlike Moss...who will have to learn to share more
