I can't for the life of me understand why, if their religious belief is so great, they expend so much energy promoting it. It should speak for itself.

But, no, they're every where spouting 2,000 year old fiction just like it happened yesterday. And, they don't even get that right. Like they'll say Jesus said or God said, when no such thng is actually in the Bible. They'll say that the New Testiment was the result of Jesus having changed the Old Testiment. The truth is that the New Testiment was written by a group of 17th century writers, who were commissioned by King James to do so. Furthermore, there is a passage in the Old Testiment that states "no man shall change one word of this Bible."

But, all of this gets caught up in their glassy-eyed mental meanderings and they are not about to hear any of it.

They are more worrisome than a green flies.

Well you can't really seperate the two. Since the Bible holds some scientific answers to history and science. The Egyptians are mentioned all through the old testament and a mammoth dinosaur is mentioned in the book of Job. If you are going to mention evolution I think that it is fair to mention the other alternative. There is much mentioned about bilology and space and time so no I think that all theories should be heard and any form of arguement.

The bible or any of those are not THEORIES. Again people with little to no understanding of science miscontrewing words. Only science belongs in scientific discussions. Now if it were a religious discussion or philopsy class, fine then present your ideas. But they do not and most likely will never be able to stand on the same level as scientific theories. A.K.A, the theory of evolution, the germ theory, the theory of gravity... etc etc etc.

HERE, HERE! Not a question but I agree. These two things are separate. They haven't always been but I'm glad I live in the time period that they are.
