I saw it on Oxygen one night and found it really weird but intriguing. I was wondering if the actual DVD had any more of the SM scenes than the tv version. Just curious.

I own the DVD and I like it alot, I like that it's weird and not a typical love story. I'm positive that there are parts that aren't shown in the tv version that appear on the DVD. If you thought it was interesting, you should also check out the movies May, Donnie Darko, and Code Uknown. :)

Really intriguing movie, I agree. You should just rent the dvd and see how it differs with the tv version, I've only seen the dvd. Was there the scene where they're married and he ties her up to the tree at the end? I don't know that they could have cut out too much because then the movie wouldn't make much sense.

It was a pretty intense movie. I did not see the TV version, so I do not know if there is more SM scenes on the DVD. I would check with Oxygen to see if they edit. I many cases they edit just for time.

I liked the movie, although the connection between SM and automutilation is a downer. But it is very good in describing the emotions of people involved in SM. The opening scene is hilarious.

So far I've seen it only once in the cinema.

I thought it was really weird too. The acting was good, but James Spader TOTALLY turned me off. He was a bit too yucky for me. Of course, that's not a bad thing cause it probably means he was playing the part correctly.
