Not a fan of 'scary' movies but The Shinning was good. The original Exorcist and The Omen were scary too.
And of course, the new breed of scary movies SAW! That movie was the best horror film I've ever seen. Very impressed.

Last House on the Left -- I was very scared when I first saw this, very low budg, but scary the first time
Oh, and the scene where the creature comes out of the closet in Poltergeist still freaks me out for some reason.

Texas ChainSaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes. I was scared as hell when I watched both of those movies. When I was younger though it was Nightmare on Elm Street 2 and IT ! I'm scared of clowns to this day because of that movie!

The excorsist! Freaked the shi.t out of me. I couldnt go to sleep in weeks- the other freaky @$$ movie was the shining (REAL CREEPY!!!) These are the 2 scariest in the world- dont listedn to anyone else! I still am freaked by these!! haha

Hands down it has to be Alien (yeah I know it's found in the Sci-Fi section). That movie had me jumping at shadows for a week.
