I see so many rich haters in here, why all the hate? Do you think it is wrong to be wealthy? If you suddenly became rich would you refuse the money based on your principles?

People are hypocrites. They hate everyone else’s good fortune. No pun intended...
Most people look at the "rich" as stuck up snobs who only care about themselves. Which isn't true. I don't consider myself rich, though not poor either. There are two kinds of rich people. The ones who work hard for their money, and the ones who just "fall into money". (Being born into money counts as “falling into money”) I have nothing but respect for the ones who work hard and deserve it. The ones who fall into money don't always deserve it. But really, the "poor" people think that they deserve just as much money as the rich have and so they hate the rich because the rich are better off. Of course if the "poor" would get off their lazy butts and actually get a job then they would actually have some money. Just my opinion.

By the way, if I “suddenly became rich”, or in other words “fell into money”. I’d snatch that money up so quickly, if you’d blink, you’d miss it.

As mentioned before, most are probably jealous of someone that is rich. Many people waste too much time worrying about what other people have. If I suddenly became rich, I don't think I would refuse the money. It would allow me to pay off my debts, help my family and friends, and maybe even bring some peace of mind (so that I don't always have to worry every month about paying my bills!).

It's okay to be rich when your rice because your all set pretty much, however poorer people will always be haters until they can figure out how to make the big money. Being rich is something i would like very much just so i don't have to worry about money.

I don't hate the rich...

I respect and admire anyone who has worked hard for their money and goodluck to them.

BUT! I don't respect those who are born into much wealth and waste their parents money..... ummm Paris Hilton.

If I became suddenly rich of course I wouldn't refuse it, but I wouldn't waste it away. I would continue to work and do charity work to keep myself level headed.

No, I wouldn't. There is nothing wrong with being wealthy as long as you are happy and not hurting any one else.

I think certain people should be "rich". These people would share it , donate it and it would not change who they are.
