In logic and computers, it means "intersection". Here's a truth table:
A | B | A AND B
--+--+------------
T | T | T
T | F | F
F | T | F
F | F | F
where A and B are either true or false, and A AND B is the intersection of the 2. Think like they're venn diagrams.
