i have this friend and we were very close about 2 years ago we would talk on the phone for about 4 or 5 hours every night. but when i told her i had a boyfriend she suddenly stopped talking to me. I saw her at a store about a year ago and she looked like she was a little nervous to see me. and about a few months ago my mom saw her at a store and she told me she asked about me and asked if i was in to store with my mom that day, but when i tried to call her she didnt pick up the phone the first few times. she picked up once though and she sounded kinda sad like her feelings were still hurt, when i put the phone down to go do something she hung up and i havent talked to her since. does she still have feelings for me and thats the reason she ignores me now because she thinks we cant be friends

She might be jealous. I have a best firend who is a girl and then I got a girlfriend. I didn't know she liked me. Everyone on my street heard her crying for hours. She finally cried her self to sleep at night. The next day She told me she was moving to Florida. I decided I was going to take my bestfriend as my girlfriend. By the time I got there the plane left so I stayed with my girlfriend and a day later I dumped her. Now I just feel depressed. You still have a chance to get your close friend back

Sometimes, friends are so unpredictable! It seems like she has no chance to become more closer to you because you will be busy with your BF!And she got insecure(I did not say she is a tomboy)It sounds like you are precious to you but she is sour graping that you have a new buddy more than fried but a Lover!Just visit her at their home and talk to her andintroduce her with your BF and maybe she will understand that having aBF is the end of your friendship but it adds spices in your life! To find a true friend is not as easy as you buy something in a store but you can change a Bf anytime you want but not a bestfriend!

I'm sorry but I think she is trying to put a guilt trip on you. If you were truly best friends she would be happy for you that you have a boyfriend. Sounds like she wants you all to herself. That is not being a friend. That's being possessive. You have done all that you can to try to make it up to her and explain things to her. She doesn't seem to want to listen. Sounds like she is wallowing in self pity.
I would give it some time, let her come to you. Hopefully over time she will realize that what she did was wrong, and if your friendship means anything to her, she will try to contact you and accept that you have a boyfriend, and that you will have other friends, but doesn't mean she will be thought of any less.

My bff went through the same thing with her ex-bff. Her ex-bff and her didn't talk for almost a year(it still continues), and if your like my bff, you should talk to her and ask her things like: "What have you been up to lately?", "Anything new going on?". And if she doesn't want to talk to you then you know that you at least tried to settle things with her.
Just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean that you will lose your best friend. I think it is kinda selfish of her to think that would happen. It takes a true friend to realize that.

Oh' how mighty the thinking. Girls, girls girls, sheesh, what ever happened to independence I'll never know. You girls just have nothing better to do than chat on a phone and probably each of you know when you got your period, when you have to pee, what you ate last night, what you did. Maybe she does have feelings for you still or she just feels ackward about the whole situation and doesn't know what to do. Give her time and hopefully she will come around if not at least know you tried your best.

It sounds like she had an attraction for you and was upset you had a boyfriend. There had to be an indication that she was attracted to you. Nevertheless, if she is truly your friend, she will come around.

maybe she had a crush on you and didn't feel open enough to tell you because you probably would of thought she was weird. she has some attraction towards you that she never let out.

I guess she was scared that you have boyfriend and you will forget her and long gone. that is why maybe. If you havent change yourself since you bestfriend with and with your boyfriend or husband I don't see what the plm them.
