Yes, it works. I would definitely suggest using it somewhere where you have access to a detachable shower head, because otherwise washing the Nair off can be kind of difficult. Also, be sure not to leave it on too long (it will say on the bottle), because it could lead to chemical burns.
I'd suggest Veet Rasera more though, the plastic "razor" is really handy, and as mentioned by someone else above, Veet smells a lot less.

I use to use nair before I was offically old enough to shave. I was 10 years old when girls would make fun of me at school because I couldn't shave. Mom thought I was too young to shave so she bought me nair. You put it on like lotion weight about 3 mins and wash off with water in the shower. I used it until the age of 14.

I agree that Veet is better than Nair, especially if you have sensitive skin. If you do have sensitive skin, even Veet may be bad for you. I personally love Veet Rasera, it's quick and the plastic razor works great. But I've always had tough skin, and I've heard of girls who got chemical burns from it. I guess the key is to test it before using it to see if your skin can handle it.

I have used both Nair and Veet and neither one has worked for me. It's messy and time consuming (applying, waiting, rinsing) and after my legs still feel stubbly. You are not supposed to use it again for 24-48 hours, and shaving will irritate it, so you are stuck with stubbly legs for like a day at least after! I don't recommend it!

I use the regular Nair and the hair grows back just as fast as shaving but leaves you feeling a lot smoother than shaving

dont use nair, it smells and takes a long time to work. Use Veet for non-shaving hair removal

I have used it and now many other people that have used it. It will take off the hair. Follow the directions and it will work. But you do not want to leave it on for more then it tells you to because it WILL BURN you.
