Let's make this simple:

Inertia and Momentum refer to Newton's 1st Law...Momentum tell us that an object in motion will stay in motion, and inertia tell us that an object at rest will stay at rest...both until acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Kinectic energy refers to the energy of moving objects. (as opposed to potential energy, that refers to objects that are not moving, but that could move.)

Examples:

Inertia: A pencil sitting on my desk will not move until something moves it. This is a very comforting thought if you stop and think about it.

Momentum: If I'm riding my bike, I will continue to move until the force of gravity pushing down on me, and friction moving against the tires, and the wind blowing in my face all conspire to stop me.

Kinetic energy: This is the sum total of all the energy spent keeping my bicycle moving...my legs pedaling, gravity pushing me down the hill, then subtract the forces acting against me.

Inertia is the tendency for an object to remain in whatever state of motion it is in; an object sitting still stays that way, you need to apply a force to make it move. If teh object has a lot of inertia, say a dump truck full of rocks, it takes more force to get it to start moving. Once that truck is moving down the road at 60 mph, it will take a lot of force to stop it.
Kinetic energy is the enrgy of motion as opposed to potential or resting state enrgy.

inertia is the property of the body to retain it's state of motion unless acted by an external force,which is proportional to the mass of the body.=m
It should be emphasised that 'inertia' is a scientific principle, and thus not quantifiable. In common usage, however, people may also use the term "inertia" to refer qualitatively to an object's "amount of resistance to change in velocity" (which is determined by its mass), and sometimes its momentum, depending on context (e.g. "this object has a lot of inertia"). The term "inertia" is more properly understood as a shorthand for "the principle of inertia as described by Newton in his First Law".




Momentum is *quantity of motion * =mv
In general the momentum of an object can be conceptually thought of as the tendency for an object to continue to move in its direction of travel. As such, it is a natural consequence of Newton's first law.

Kinetic energy is related to energy which is related to capabilty of doing work ==1/2*m*(v.^2)
Kinetic energy (SI unit: the joule) is energy that a body possesses as a result of its motion. It is formally defined as the work needed to accelerate a body from rest to its current velocity.

Inertia is when an object is at rest it remains at rest, and if an object is in motion it remains in motion.

Momentum is the product of the mass multipied bye the velocity of an object.

Kinetic Energy is the energy of motion or in other words the energy a moving object has because of its motion.
