The conflict in the Middle East goes back to the 1920s, when the first major influx of Russian and European Jews occurred. Eventually, by the time Israel was officially founded, a great deal of animosity already existed between the Palestinian Arabs and the Zionists. In 1948 alone, Jews destroyed over 400 Arab villages and towns, killing the inhabitants or driving them away and either demolishing the towns or taking them over for Jewish settlements. The eviction of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes was the beginning of the Palestinian refugee camps. This is what I believe is the root cause of the present terror. The Jews brought it upon themselves by their genocidal acts against the Palestinian people. Even today the Jews make it a regular practice to destroy the Palestinian infrastructure, bulldozing olive groves, cutting Palestinian places in two with their walls and barriers, and destroying residences. By any normal definition it is genocide, but for the rest of the world it is not proper to say much bad against the Jews, a practice that has to stop.
The Jewish lobby in the US is causing billions of US taxpayer dollars to be diverted to Israel so the Israelis can buy tanks, helicopters and missiles to use against the Palestinians.
Israel will be destroyed not by suicide bombers but by a declining birth rate. The Arabs will overtake them and wipe them out, not by war, but by sheer numbers.

The people of Isreal were given their "homeland" back after ww2 to stop another mass killing of their people, and to help balance the power of an unstable Christan, secular hating reagion.
After the people of Palestine invented modern day terrorism we steped in to stop the growing radical islamist population. It was to be a touchy fight in the days of pc and mass media bias so we did little. The real threat at the time was the USSR. We let the Palestine/ Middle East issue get worse in part because it beat back the secular USSR. In doing so Jimmy Cartter failed to see that they hate not only the Jews and USSR but Americans and all things not Islamic. Radicalism set in, again as it had about 1450 years before and the bombers that blow themsevles up in Isreal(not just the people of Palestine but the Middle East and North/West Africa) turned to the US in the 80's. They Bin ladin and the washed Palestine UN aid (over 48% American tax payer money) stared to kill US citizens staring around 85 with over 200 mairnes. Another dozen deadly strikes followed during the Presndent Bill's term, then maybe the part you may know, 9/11.
If we can get everybody liking the Jews in Isreal they will love us. Plus Isreal is the only country that has taken the action to save itself and us in the last thrity years. i.e. 81 they bombed the nukes Iraqi was building in order according to their own leader to "kill the dan- Jews and Americans.
You could say were good friends with Isreal; we just like to stab them in the back whenever it looks like it will make the UN like us more.
In short: they are a buffer for the hate. Isreal gets bombed and we tell about it on CNN. When their are no more Jews to keep us safe- we will soon follow suit of the fallen Jewish nation.

There has been 30 years of U.S.-Israeli rejectionism of all Palestinian rights.
The balance of terror and violence is overwhelmingly against the Palestinians, not surprisingly, given the balance of forces, and that's even true -- that's true right to the present.
You should approach it as an American. As for an American, it is one of the lead issues in the world. Israel is able to do these things, to dismantle and destroy the West Bank, to disintegrate the community, because the United States gives it massive aid, unparalleled in international affairs, not only military and economic, but also diplomatic by, as I mentioned, for the last 30 years, unilaterally blocking the two-state settlement, which Israel also totally rejected, alone, the two of them, and as long as you, the American taxpayer, goes on supporting this, yes, it will continue, and it'll lead to exactly what the Bantustan-style solution that Benvenisti and others describe, right on the ground and, yes, so therefore, it's of enormous importance to Americans.
As for solutions, pretty straightforward. They were coming close to a solution at Taba until Israel called it off. Negotiations continued, leading to several proposals of which the most detailed were the Geneva Accords. The Geneva Accords in December 2002 were accepted by essentially the whole world. Israel rejected them. The U.S. refused even to send a message to the Geneva meetings. But they're still potentially alive, and American citizens can compel our own government to reverse its program, to accept the international consensus for the first time, and then we'll be on the way to a solution.

you should go to My jewishlearning.com....as far as America is involved in this, is that between 1948 and 1950 America helped the Jews regain Israel territory back from the Palestine's...pushing them into the Gaza strip leaving hundreds of thousands homeless..... i don't know who is Right or wrong...there are two sides to every story..... this is the story that I know...as far as that, i hope it helps you...... I personally am reluctant to say much about Jewish people, I do believe in God and as far as I have learned Jewish people are his chosen people...I dare not insult them, or cast any hatred against them....God has his plans for what is happening and I do not question.... I just wish America would mind our own business and let God's plans take place...as I see it, the world is coming to it's end soon, the conflicts between Israel and the Palestines, that they have now just may be the beginning of the end.....

the U. S. is making an attempt to unravel the project. they are offering the unlawful state of "Israel" with large scale weaponry and large quantities of money (extra per man or woman than we get contained in the U. S.!!) for the sissy IDF to flow in and systematically homicide all Palestinians. they are going to both die or be compelled to flee. that's us of a's answer. in the meantime, our own human beings right here contained in the U. S. are stuck with unfavorable educations, awful healthcare and assorted homeless persons. the position is our 16 million per day? that's what the U. S. is sending "Israel" each day to ethnically cleanse the area. What do the Zionists want with Palestine? that is all about strategic area, land grabs and greed. Zionist ideology is accountable, no longer real Judaism. Zionists have hijacked the religion as a thanks to legitamize their career of a land they have somewhat no proper to.

Until the Russians supplied Arabs with arms to block the Suez
canal, we never participated in this nightmare. Now we can't let the Israelis lose(the only functioning democracy in the middle east). Think France when your think Arabic arms supplier.
The UN not the US gave the land to the Israelis.

you see this situation is rarely viewed in context, the western powers, have predominately been christian and catholic, and in their bible there is an israel, however, throughout the vast majority of the last 1400 years it has been under arab or tukish control, but has been predominately muslim, prior to this it was still know as palestine or Palaestina, but was under roman control, other than a 14 yr.occupation by persia (now iran),after WW1 the region fell under the control of the british, who continued to refer to it as palestine, but in 1917 already began to tal;k about eventually making this a jewish homeland, in the balfour declaration of 1917. after world war two there was a large influx of jewish people, and internal hostilities grew. In 1947 the british government turned their "mandate" of control of the area to the UN, a plan was drawn up to break palestine into 2, creating to nations jewish and arab, with jerusalem staying international territory, the jewish accepted the proposal the arabs rejected it, on may 14 1948, the UN voted for the creation of israel, the arab states immediately attacked got whooped, and in 1949 palestine after existing for thousands of years was erased. it has only been 57 years in that long history since then. They are fighting for their country as we would for ours, the british took control and basically handed a country away, we are tougher than them no doubt about it, they have been crushed and have no ability to even fight a war in the modern sense, we have destroyed their capabilities. We know try to argue that we only retaliate against them, the old childish "well he hit me first", excuse, both sides then keep retaliating, an it escalates, then simmers for the last 60 years. the only problem with what we're saying is that we in fact hit them first, they're right, we stole there land because in our bible (a fable) there is supposed to be an israel, but instead in that geographical area there was a Palestine. And we literally placed troops there and said this is no longer yours., and what should the us do apologize for one, and quickly try to amicably remove the state of israel, Jewish people have lived in the area for thousands of years and there's no reason that should change, but to steal land and hand it to another, the palestinians did not commit the holocaust, the germans did, why we steal land as a sort of global reparations package, to the survivors of an aspiring global tyrant, who ran germany, from palestine is beyond moral reason, if anyone should have been forced to give up sovereignty it should have be the aggressors and losers germany perhaps turkey, but solely due to biblical reasons we took it from palestine whom we gained control of after chasing the ottoman fascist alliance out in world war one, and when germany aligned with the ottamans, we knew germany was further expanding its control, this is why we were fighting because of their expansionistic goals. We are supporting the opression of millions of people, who quite frankly are now in very bad shape. prolonging our aaggression is not good especially since we should all know that we were in the wrong, it wasn't ours to give, though i'm sure it was done with good intentions. Its time to return their sovereignty.

The Allies pretty much set up Israel as a homeland for the Jews after WW2, so we are kind of responsible for the ensuing carnage and the end result.
