Their TV show "Monty Python's Flying Circus" had its moments. I love the fish slapping dance and the parrot. Both are classic. I haven't seen the other movies, "Life of Brian" and "Meaning of Life", but I know people who have and say they're good.
You might also want to consider reading the first "Hitch hiker's Guide to the Galaxy", the author used to write on the show. Also you might want to watch "The Princess Bride" or "Pirates of the Carribean" there's a lot of that banter humor that's Monty Python-esque.

Monthy Python was one of the funniest shows on old time TV. See if you can find them on DVD, I like the Airplane movies and any of the Lislie Nelson movies and of course Star Trek

The Parrot Sketch and The Importance of Not Being Seen are the best sketches.
Also they have a Broadway gig SPAM A LOT

totally mad cap comedy good for your head when stressed out its so ludicrous ............ but if you think about it its just a little play on reality weare all crackers if you analize us.
