My favorite is in the Old Testament where God stops the sun in the sky (presumedly He stopped it from orbiting around the earth) in violation of every known law of nature. But then I guess the Big Guy having made the rules can capriciously violate those rules whenever He sees fit (sorta like the Big Guy in the WH). BTW if you think the Bible has NO contradictions please just keep moving, this question isn't for you.

Well, Adam and Eve are the first humans. They have two sons (later a third). Cain kills Abel. As punishment, Cain is banished from ever seeing his parents again. He goes off to another land and marries a girl there. Where the heck did she come from? Did God create her? Did A & E have a daughter and thus Cain and his wife are brother and sister?

That Christianity stopped being practiced about two thousand years ago. Too bad those politicians had to edit and re-write that peice of fiction; the new testiment. If it hadn't, the teachings of the Christ could have made a nice come back. Yup, too bad.

my all time fave is how God made the world, light and dark, man and woman in all of 6 days. If we take into account that day and night was as long as it was then as it is now, then where did the dinosaurs come in?

Then there's Jesus's birth. He couldn't possibly have been born on December 25 because its too damn cold in Jerusalem that of the year for any shepard to have his flock of sheep out and about.

The whole theory that he made us in his image & gave us free will and loves us all & Jesus died for our sins, but if we don't believe in him then we have to burn in hell... Gee, isn't that a nice, passive-agressive Almighty being?
