Oh, honey, now settle down. You're only 13...yes, I know, people have said this over and over and over. Just because you've experimented with lesbianism doesn't automatically make you one. Telling your mom right now that you're having "sex" will freak her enough. Please tell me you are being cautious about your relations?? STDs are not something you want to get at 13. Step back and take a deep breath and tell yourself you're still young yet and there's a lot of growing between you and an adult lesbian relationship.

You "just found out"? How did that happen? If you've had an experience with one of your friends or something, that doesn't make you a lesbian. It's not really something you could "just find out" - you can realize it all of a sudden, but that's different. (I don't mean to nag, darlin', I'm just trying to clear this up for both of us.)
You need to be POSITIVE that you really like girls before you take as big of a step as telling your mom. Remember that she will be there, tomorrow, or six months from now in all probability, and she can wait for you to be sure of your feelings.
If you KNOW you're gay, and that you are comfortable with yourself and you want people to know, the best way I've found is to wait 'til it comes up - like, if you see an ad for Brokeback Mountain or Ellen or hear someone talking about the Sanctity of Marriage Act, you can steer the conversation towards homosexuality in general, and eventually lead up to the fact that you like girls. This works much better than blurting it out, or even sitting her down, with a "Mom, I've got something to tell you," because then she could get really freaked out and not be as receptive as normal.
I wish you luck, it's not easy being a lesbian, bi, or even questioning. You can contact me if you want to - aetetlytiettlym@yahoo.com
Have a pleasant day!

just sit down with ur mom and have a mother-daughter talk, be honest with her, talk about ur feelings, at 13 it might just be an exploration trying to discover urself, tell her why u think u r a lesbian, one thing 4 sure is don't be afraid to talk to ur parents, communication is everything, and once u get this off ur chest u won't have to hide it or stress about it anymore, this will also show her that u r a mature teenager.

You are not a lesbian if you just found out.
At 13, you just have mixed feelings.
Quit hanging out with that girl and see some other people.
Try that for awhile and don't be afraid about talking about your feelings with someone. We all look for answers. Bless you.

Ask her to read Scripture with you, especially Genesis 19, and Leviticus 18.

13 is too young to prclaim your sexual orientation...give yourself at least 5 more years...what's the hurry? ...it's not like there's a sale at home depot you can't wait?
