As you may or may not know it is rumored that two main characters will die in the seventh and final Harry Potter book. Who do you think it will be?

My guess is Ginny Weasley, because it would devastate Ron AND Harry, for different reasons, obviously; and Professor Snape, who will die in the process of saving Harry.
My guess is the Dumbledore is not really dead, that right before he died, he pulled a trick like Spock in Star Trek 2, and put his soul somewhere for safe keeping. And that at a crucial moment, he'll show up back on the scene.
I can't see Rowling killing off Hermione, because she would have to move to a different planet to escape the wrath of fans.
Harry she might kill off, but only after Voldemort is dead. Sort of an Ahab and the Whale type of thing.

They keep saying Harry WILL die. The author even said she was killing the MAIN character off!
