get out the owners manuel and see what it says about priming the system, if it doesent say on the top of the motor is the fuel filter, take off the cap and fill the watterseporator/fuel filter housing with fuel that should get you going the cap is about centoer of the motor round black plastic and you can usaly use a 3/8 extenston and wrench to take it off

In basic terms, it's lost its prime. You have to bleed all the air out of the system so the injectors can start working again. It's not hard, really, but you're probably going to have to get someone close by that's done it before to walk you through it on your vehicle. It will not start until you take care of it first.

take the fuel filter off and fill it with diesel it should look like a oil filter by the fire wall

you probably need to prime the fuel filter
