If using a cell phone while driving is illegal...how come every one still does it?

There are more traffic fatalites and injuries than ever...I say it is due to using a phone while driving...how come there is not a huge crackdown?

i guess its because ppl like 2 stay connected. but i think ur right, we need to hang up and drive.

Because cops don't enforce it. I talk on my cell phone when I drive. I'm not a dumb ***. I don't let it take me away from what I am doing. I still know that I am driving a vehicle and I have to pay attention to what I am doing and my surroundings. I don't even know why they put that law into effect. Why did some dumb asses have to mess it up for everyone else. What next? You can't talk to your children while driving? I mean WTF?

It's the same as anything else. If people can get away with it, they're going to do it. And the police probably figure that they need to spend their money cracking down on other more guilty people who really need to be caught.

its only illegal in some states, and people are to stupid to realize that talking on the phone while they drive is not a great idea. and as for cracking down in some states they are very strict about it

well i think there are 2 reasons:

1. the law has not been in FULL effect

2. cops don't have time to look through each window and besides, if they did it would take to long and everyone would have already went on green light

It's only illegal in some staes for your information. I'm smarter than you and I'm 11. I don't drive or have a cellphone!

They "think" they've mastered the art of driving while on the cell
phone.
They think they are above the law.
They are selfish a**holes.
