What are the options? Tolerate it, or die, right? Take the maximum amount of pain you think you can tolerate, double it, and you'll still be nowhere near an amount that will actually kill you. Hence, put to the test, almost everyone can tolerate a lot more pain than they believe is possible.

What's cool is that every time you go through pain and come out on the other side, you are a much better person as a result.

Well, if I'm allowed to complain and cry out, I can tolerate as much pain as I need to tolerate. Also, if the pain grows to be too much, I find that the body's natural defense is to eject the soul and thereby "pass out." So, the true being will only tolerate so much pain before it quietly removes itself. Sincerely, UCSteve

Quite a lot. I love being hit and beat and cut. I have about 35 piercings, and I loved every minute of them. The only time I cried out of pain lately was when it felt that one of my ovaries exploded, though it didn't. I am not a crier. I think I could stand a very substantial amount.

Let's see ... I have given birth to 2 children, broke my ankle, had my gall bladder out (the old fashioned way), and have had more migraines than I can count. I made it through all of it. Sometimes not well, but I made it through. Sometimes you just have to tough it out.

A pretty good amount, I'm immune to pain. I guess that's what happens after being abused half your life.
