I invited the Alien at my door in and showed him the most glorious world of CSI and Harry Potter and Anime. I also gave him a beer, much to my dad's dismay. I suggest you do the same, then when their not looking call the Men in Black and say you want money for the alien that watches CSI, reads Harry Potter books and speaks perfect Japanese. :D

If the alien is from outer space...call the men in black. If the alien's from mexico, nicaragua, el salvador or any third world country...the usual American response is to call INS or the police. If the alien's a muslim...unfortunately they call homeland security or the counter-terrorist unit in their area.

What the hell are the police gonna do? Basically if he made it here from outer space then your door ain't nothing to him. So you can invite him in or DIE!

If there was an alien at your door, you might as well let them in. Anything that has the technology for an extended space flight has the technology to come in anyway, and you might as well be polite to them (it would be prudent)

calling the police just makes you the town weirdo...because aliens are smart and will disappear before the police arrive. invite it in and keep a glass of water handy just incase it kills them like in the movie SIGNS.

I would say invite him/her/it in, but you can't really know whether or not you can trust this alien. It's could be as stupid as inviting a human stranger in. But, if you think you can trust this alien not to kill you or anything, go ahead and invite him/her/it in.

DO NOT LET HIM IN!!!! Real aliens have no need for doors. They simply beam you into their space ship. It is some very sneaky robber or perhaps a window salesman.

I'm glad you specified from outerspace or I would have told you that they were probably there to mow the lawn... :) j/k all!
Anyway, if they don't have any sort of ray guns or anything, you could probably invite it in... he got all the way here from another planet, if he wanted to break into your house and harm you, he probably would have already.
