Selling on Ebay works for some people.
My friend does property management, so she rents out vacation homes and gets a percentage of the profits.
Telemarketing, sales from home.
Setting up a web business. My friend's dad has three as his sole income.

Are you willing to put every ounce of your might into succeeding at your home business? The best way is to start your own business. It takes work, but the rewards are great.
It won't happen over nithg, so I suggest you make a decision right now. Either you will build your business and become successful, or do nothing. Doing nothing changes nothing.

Also, if you are a people person you can sell avon, mary kay, tuperware, or a lot of other things from home. Another suggestion is to do mystery shopping. I did this for a while and it is a way to earn a little extra cash. However, do not pay to get a list of legitimate mystery shopping companies. You can go to www.volition.com and they have over 300 companies that you can sign up for. Make earrings or beaded jewellery and resell to your friends, run a market stall, or sell to small boutiques, or sell through ebay..
Do child minding...charge about $30 a day..5 children and you have $150 a day...they will be company for your child, and you treat them like your own. Its one of the best businesses for someone at home..and if you get successful, you can hire someone to help you too...

You have a child already so why not put your mommy skills to use and convert your home into a child day care facility. Of course you will be need to go through the licensing process and get certified but It will be rewarding for you, your child and the happy children you take care everyday. :)
