Mel Brooks at his comic best!!! I love that film. I haven't seen it in so long, but anytime its on TV --I have to watch it!!

Rememer the begining (a la Star Wars)?

Once upon a time warp... In a galaxy very, very, very, very, far away there lived a ruthless race of beings known as... Spaceballs. - Chapter Eleven - The evil leaders of Planet Spaceball, having foolishly squandered their precious atmosphere, have devised a secret plan to take every breath of air away from theyr peace-loving neighbor, Planet Druidia. - Today is Princess Vespa's wedding day. Unbeknownst to the princess but knownst to us, danger lurks in the stars above... - If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

Merchandising! Merchandising!

It's Funny for sure!

Do you know these
Goofs for Spaceballs:

Although Dark Helmet throws Lone Starr's Schwartz ring down a grating, Lone Star is wearing it in the Winnebago after Mega Maid explodes.

After Lone Starr sprays the guard with shaving cream, he gets some on his sleeve. Next shot shows it clean.

A dolly is visible in front of Dot's feet on the floor just as they approach the feet of the Yogurt Statue. After a cut to the statue and a cut back to them it's covered by the sand on the ground.

When Lone Starr uses his "killer fingers", he clearly loses his ring. In the next shot, the ring is on his finger again.

During the merchandising scene with Yogurt, Spaceballs: The Coloring Book is held up and shown, but you can see Optimus Prime of Transformers on the cover.

When Dark Helmet goes flying forward after the ship comes to a screaming halt, you can see the intercom/microphone still suspended up in mid-air with a wire holding it up.

The footprints of the crew, actors and horses in the "Planet of the Apes" scene are all visible on the ground.

A storm trooper starts to move his hand to his crotch before he is supposed to (before dark helmet yells at the crew and they all cover up the groins).

When Dark Helmet and Sandurz are watching the tape of "Spaceballs", the scrolling words shown at the beginning of the tape do not match what was actually shown at the beginning of the movie. (On the tape, the letters are all capitals, but are upper and lower case in the movie's beginning.)

In the cave, when Yogurt first appears, a door opens in the base of his statue, he walks out, and the door closes behind him. In the very next shot, the door is open again, Yogurt walks out again, and the door closes behind him again. (DVD version)

During the John Hurt "Chestburst Alien" scene, when the alien starts singing, you can see the pole controlling the tail of the alien briefly.

Whenever Dot Matrix is sitting down, her skirt is made of leather. When she stands up and walks, it is metal.

After Dot Matrix rolls down a sand hill, her metal skirt is damaged. In the next scene it is undamaged.

When Dark Helmet and Lonestar are doing their showdown when Dark Helmet says "Evil will always triumph because good is dumb!" Behind him at the emergency button on the glass you can see a crew member with a white shirt reflected.

During LoneStar and Barf's rescue of the Princess and Dot, they run into the two guards which they had stolen their uniforms from. Those guards are wearing the helmets that LoneStar and Barf were clearly wearing the scene before.

When Lonestar sprays shaving cream at that guard, the guard obviously breaks his fall with his hands when he falls forward

In the scene where Princess Vespa is threatened with plastic surgery, the nurse zips up her shirt, but in the subsequent shot, her shirt is still unzipped.

We never find out why Vespa had luggage on her ship, except for a few dumb gags. There are two possibilities. One is that she was planning on running off and decided to pack a few essentials. The other possibility is that she had packed for the honeymoon, but this is unlikely since she and Valium would have gone together on his ship.

When Roland solicits help from Lone Starr, they talk like they know each other (after all, Roland hails him by name), yet Lone Starr and Barf act surprised that they have picked up a Druish princess.
