Because they can't stand the fact that American Indians are fighting back and regaining some of their former wealth that was forcibly taken from them by the first settlers. The atrocities white people committed against the Indians were unforgivable, and I think Indians should do what they can to make a good living. Nobody is forcing people to go to the casinos and play. I have also noticed that most of the people who speak out against the casinos are the gambling addicted white people who frequent them.

I really don't know why. There are a lot of misconceptions about those casinos. If only people knew that the Indian casinos give contribute money to a lot of places and charities within the cities they live in and I know of one casino where the majority of the people in that city is employed there and all the employees are not Indian, so that casino is contributing to the city's economic wealth and supplying the overall population with jobs.

Some of it may boil down to jealousy. Because these casinos are on Indian land and therefore since they are federal and not state controlled they are excluded from state regulations controlling gambling within its borders. The average person because of those regulations could not open a casino if they had the resources and I think that irks some. Of course, the fact that the casinos tend to be very successful also gets under their skin a bit too I think.

They don't fully understand it.
People make fum of popular things sometimes.
They are maybe a little envious.
A Casino is a Casino is a Casino whether it's in Vegas, England, Spain or on Indian Territory. If they don't like Indian Casinos they should realize that they put their profits to good use and treat their employees well. How many companies that make more money than them can say the same...
Oh yeah and if they don't like them- they don't have to go to one---

Making fun of is because of ignorance or racism.
Not liking (I dislike them, do not hate them) has to do with my dislike of casinos in general. Also, I think the government is improperly allowing only certain tribes have casinos. Either all or none.

Because they are assholes and deep down they know that we took everything away from their people and have to make fun of it to make themselves feel better. I wish there was a better answer than that but, that's pretty much it...the bastards:)
