I think he started building it while he was drinking on night - I'm not 100% on that. He did mention it on the show one night but I'm having trouble remembering.

Anyway, I'm betting we'll find out when the show finally ends :(

Maybe it is a motorized life raft boat which means that it could be deflatted to save room and the motor is taken off and put back on when inflated again

It's not a life size boat.
