i am thinking of making cupcakes for my summer class, and i am wondering what color and what type of frosting is the most popular. i dont want to ask my peers because i want to surprise them. thanks! : D

Hmm well I would make spice cupcakes (the mix used for carrot cake) and I would make cream cheese frosting in the colour of orange...pretty much a carrot cake cupcake.

heres an idea, make chocolate cupcakes, then mix white frosting with different colors of food coloring! the cupcakes will be all rainbowey! i did that for a party once.

I would make half of them chocolate and half of them vanilla. Mix the icings on all of them. Make some vanilla with chocolate icing, some chocolate with vanilla icing and some with icing to match their cake.
