Well, I watched "Bend it like Beckham' and loved that movie. It made me realize what an icon he is in the soccer (football) watching countries.
Actually in England he is practically a God. I think it's mostly Brits who worship the living daylights out of him. But I'm not really sure.
I am an ignorant American Ice Hockey Fan.

I love David Beckham. I even named my cat after him... Except my boyfriend always called him pecker so he would only answer to that.
