I play 3 sports. Im in band which is not just a class at our school but a way of life. I have a 4.0 gpa. Im friends with dorks and jocks and popular kids and the ones inbetween. But I feel like i dont get to ever spend time with my friends cause im too busy trying to impress people especially my parents. I have morals so i dont get drunk on the weekends or smoke pot or anything, but i feel like im living the life of a middleaged responsible woman instead of a moody spontaneous teenager. I mean im 15 I deserve some fun right?

I know exactly how you feel. I am only 13, but I have come to realize that you can't do everything! If you do, you are putting off what is most important; friends. So, ask your real friends and family if they are being neglected time with you if so, maybe cut back on a sport or two, because I have a 4.0 GPA, sing in a choir that has so many events, play a sport, and have drama and BETA clubs, after school.
Don't be too hard on yourself!!! I know it's so hard to "impress" parents, but if they are loving and understanding, they won't be ashamed of you if you do one little thing bad. All you need to do is listen to what they have to say, (even if it makes absolutely no sense at all) and do get into trouble!
I hope I helped you!

as your cousin i am so proud of you that u have morals and everything and u are such a good kid. if i had to choose i would relax on the band b/c u have to miss half of beach week just to go to band camp. i think u hag out w/ ur friends a lot so i dont know what ur talkin about w/ that. u just had movie night at ross's house and u went to laura's sweet 16. i agree somewhat w/ the person who said work now, play later b/c doing all these activities will help u so much later in life. you know how to play an instrument and 3 sports, which is way more than i could so. i also have to impress my parents but it's more of w/ grades. so i think u are doing great so far except for missing the damn beach week.
i love you mosey!!

Yup, you do deserve some fun, but also you are putting yourself on a great track for a bright future. Talk to your parents about how you feel overwhelmed and maybe you could get rid of one or 2 sports you play - that way you have some down time to spend with your friends or just relaxing.

If your constraining on your education all the time then that's up-to you, you decided to go to college and be better then you are. I feel the same i just sit alone in my room b/c the world has changed i don't really like the way the worlds become. If you want social life then you need to get out and travel the world or friend time with your friends at weekends. try getting a boyfriend go up-to a boy you fancy and say "wanna date" he may say "yes" you never know. Why do you spend most of your time in your room and watch tv. apart from studying? the world is big out there maybe you need to find something you like doing instead of sitting in your room feeling sad. God I hate women who say "you will get fu*ck over by every single man" You choose the man and you decided to date him

WAIT!!!! the fun is yet to come. guess what, young lady. you hate it now, but will be thankful later. trust me! it'll all pay off in the end. keep your nose to the grindstone for now. better friends will come, college will come soon enough, then marraige, then a home you can call your own. then you can have all the fun you want. only yours will be more special than everyone elses because you will get to go farther than most. the better the job you get, the more time you'll have to enjoy life after hours. the more money you make, the more places you'll get to see. all the others that are having a happy-go-lucky time right now will pay for it later in life. while your traveling the world, they'll be stuck at home in some hokey little no-name town with no opportunities washing dishes, or waiting tables, or asking "would you like fries with that?" or tending bar, chasing after screaming kids, cooking for their drugged out unemployed spouses who beats them because the truck broke and the dogs sick. or you'll read the obituaries and find out a classmate blew out their brains because they couldn't get a job. trust me! this is a vicious cycle i've seen far too often than not. you've got a head start so far. so what if its for your parents right now. later it'll be for you and you alone. save having kids til your in your late 20's, at least. the best years of your life have yet to come. all the others are having theirs right now and thats the way it'll stay. they'll be looking back while you'll be looking forward. don't blow it. its easy to give in. DON'T! DON'T! DON'T! and another word of advise. if your already in a hokey little no-name town, get out as soon as you can. go anywhere but don't stay there. theres a whole world to see and experience. don't worry, your classmates/friends will still be there (sadly enough) when you finally retire and return to visit. its very scary to finally leave home, family, & friends behind but don't look at it that way. look at it as an adventure. its the true beginning of your life and you can make anything you want of it. it may be tough and lean for awhile but well worth it. GOD, please listen to me! don't be like all the others. your better than that. you may not think so now but you will later. and it'll be the truth!

what you need to do is take a day to have for yourself. try a friday and get with your friends and go to a party you can drink just dont be stupid about it. and as for the drugs ya you dont need them to have fun. spend a day with your friends just having a blast if oyu dont want to drink that dont you can still have fun it never hurt anyone. belive me i was just like you only i worked and never hung out with anyone outside of school till i meet a group of people over the summer in stone harbor, we have 4 great summers of partying and just being young. we still look back at it and laugh, i would not trade in thouse memories for anything.

Well the way I do it is that I work my butt off on the weekdays and hang out with my friends on the weekends. If you can't hang out on weekends, then you should give yourself one day of relaxation each week. If you keep going on like this, you'll start getting stressed and/or lose your friends.
