Are you going to New York, N.Y. or the American side of Niagara Falls. You should have said where you were coming from.

I agree with Lynda go on the Canadian side much clearer and nicer. I don't think you need a tour guide. But, there is a tourist information right at the falls.

Stay on the Canadian side. It is much nicer. There is plenty to do there. When you get to your hotel, just ask.
