First of all, I would educate my kids about appropriate relationships, touching, etc. Second, I would talk to the pedophile and find out what the circumstances of his/her problem is/was. I would let him/her know that I am watching to make sure there are no problems. And I would vigilantly watch to make sure that there were no problems. If there was even the slightest problem I would call the police.

We had one live behind us about 8yrs ago, he didn't stay there long. All the kids and some adults smashed his windows everytime they were fixed they'd be smashed again. When he was seen out he had bricks, dog ****, all sorts of stuff thrown at him. One time he was tied to some railings and everyone was peeing on him and basically hammering him and guess what, the police came and arrested most of them, and gave him a ******* panic button. The ones who were arrested were given court orders to stay away from him which is wrong as he deserved everything he got. People like him don't deserve protecting. His life was made pure hell. Know one knows were he is now hopefully dead. If another moved by us I know we'd all do the same again.

Paedophiles deserve no place amongst society & placing them within a community is the same as placing a fox with young chickens.Extermination should be considered.

I would make life for the person hell until thay moved. I would never give them a minutes peace. If I thought I could get away with it I would string them up with piano wire where the whole world could see with a big sign informing any others like them would be treated the same.

Technically i would have no reason to fear.
Miranda laws keep pedophiles from living within 100 yards of certian areas (neighborhoods, schools, parks) so if a pedophile could live right next door to me then that means he doesn't pose a threat (otherwise he couldn't live there)

Unfortunatly, there isn't anything you could do, I should know, I had plenty living near me when I lived in a complex The only things you could do is make sure that you keep your children away from him/her, or move. I kept my kids away from them untill my lease was up and then I moved.

I'm fairly sure that one does. He has peeped through our windows, asked my daughter (much younger than him) to come into his house for drinks (when she declined to do so, he had a fit). Either he is a pedophile, or his is downright crazy - in either event, I hope he moves away very soon.

I'd move. Especially if I had kids. I wouldn't have my kids next door to a pedophile, definitely not.
