I think that only Ron should die because Ginny isn't in that much of the story, plus Heromionie is to remanticly involved with Harry. If Ron dies, It will make a big difference, but not as much of a difference as it would make if Hermione died. I also think that Harry should stay alive because if he died, it would obviously be expected, but if Harry doesn't die, it will take a bigger turn then it would if Harry DID die..........

I dont think that Hermione will die because JK Rowling has said that she is sort of like a younger version of herself. She also has said that when something needs to be said that she lets Hermy say it. Why would she want to kill the messenger? I dont think that Ginny will be killed. She's not that major of a charachter, even though she did date Harry. I just dont see it happening. I think that there is a possibility that it could be Ron. I hate to say it but that seems more likley to happen. If you think about it Ron would do anything for Harry. They are best friends. If he saw Harry in trouble I think that he would (without thinking) jump in and try to save him. Instead he would meet his own demise. Its sad but that just seems more realistic.

Its gunna be Ron and Hermione because the basics of all fantecy is that the two lovers will die...

And if its not them it will be voldamort and Harry so no one can pick up the series after J.K. Is dead

FUN FACT!! The last chapter of the last book was written before the books were even started

I think maybe they will be in danger, but who knows about dying. Maybe Harry will somehow reveal his love for Ginny and Voldemort finds out. Then Voldemort captures her to weaken Harry. I also think that Ron and Hermione will finally hook up, but that is another story. Who knows? Maybe someone will die, but I think since Harry is the main character, he will save them and Voldemort will once again be defeated.

OF the 3 I would say Ginny since she is a minor character. There's also rumers that Harry will die. If he does it could be because of his connection to Voldemort. Kind of like in the old show Dark Shadows where Barnabas and Adam were connected. What harm came to one it came to the other too.

Well the author did announce that she suprised herself by making the character die so I thihnk that it will be one of them, maybe Hermione, I don't know why though. But since she also said that it was going to be the last book in the series then maybe so nobody can ever continue with her story she will have Harry die.

If I remember correctly, Rowling has said that the last word of the series will be "scar." That leads me to believe that the final chapter of HP 7 will be something like Harry on his deathbed surrounded by his still living friends as he passes into the wizard afterlife where he will meet his parents, Sirius Black, and Dumbledore, sort of like the last scene in Titanic. My guess is the last line of the novel will be something like, "All because of the boy with a scar," or "Not bad for a boy who's most distinguishing feature was a scar."

As for who will die in HP 7, I'm predicting that Peter the rat will meet his death, as will Lupin (now all of Harry's dad's circle of friends are dead), Neville (because Harry needs to have one of his friends to die), and Mrs. Weasley (surprise!) who is really the strongest mother figure Harry has had. I'm thinking this act will be the catalyst to Harry's final confrontation with Voldemort. Harry will, of course, defeat Voldemort.

hey!!! ron, thougth hermoine is a good friends ron has much a stronger loving relatioship with harrry(and voldemort tends to kill who ever truly loves harry), i also think ginny as well but im not sure. but for the sake of it ill go with ron.
ron-Okay, so here we are, sitting around and looking for any Harry Potter info, HP rumors, HP clues, and waiting for the next HP movie. Well my friends, I think I have pretty good chunks of clues, so kick off your shoes, and relax to read.

In the recent JK Rowling interview, she's given us a few solid facts: there will be a new Minister of Magic, Harry and Cho are officially finito, and Hermione will not be doing any cooking with Draco Malfoy any time soon. Well, since you already know these things, I'm not going to focus on that stuff, and instead I'll concentrate on the stuff that isn't proven yet.

The first topic I will discuss will be (get ready) Ron's possible death. I personally think that JK is just trying to mess with our minds.

In one question, she was asked what Ron's profession will be when he left school. Her answer was:

Well, assuming he lives to leave school...I'm not going to tell you :)

We all know how attached JK is to Ron. On various occasions she has mentioned that he is one of her favorite characters. Now, what I ask myself is: why would JK be so comfortable speaking of one of her most beloved characters dying? My answer; because it isn't going to happen. I remember that when JK had to speak about that 'mysterious death' in Book Five, she was always sad speaking of it. One time, she mentioned that she got so upset that her husband suggested that she change it.

So why does JK keep speaking of it as though it were no big deal? I mean, she even put a smiley face after her answer. To me, that indicated that she was kidding.

Another reason for my thought came from this article:

http://www.sugarquill.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2005&st=25

In that article she says, "It's great to hear feedback from kids. Mostly they are worried about Ron. As if I'm going to kill Harry's best friend."

She said 'as if'. You guys know what that means, don't you? She's not considering it. I think people say as if when they say things that they don't believe, or when they hear something they can't believe, and say, "As if!"

Another hint against his death is found here:

http://www.kidsreads.com/harrypotter/jkrowling.html

This is what is said:

Q: Any hints you could share about what to expect in future Harry Potter books?
A: The theme running through all seven books is the fight between good and evil, and I'm afraid there will be casualties! Children usually beg me not to kill Ron when I tell them this; they seem to think he is most vulnerable, probably because he is the hero's best friend!

It sounds to me like she's not being serious again. Her words were, "They seem to think", as though it's not going to happen, or as though what 'they' think is not true.

Now, I know that the brilliant HP sleuths will battle me and say that Ron will die, but I'll still disagree. They have the interesting chess game theory, which basically predicts everything, but I have to ask; why would JK write something that would just give everything away? Especially if the fans could figure it out so easily. And their other theory which is how Ron will die because he joked about his tea leaves saying Die, Ron, Die. It's a known fact that when Ron jokes, his jokes usually turn out to be true. Well, not all (like the Snape being a vampire one).
