One, I think it should be called "A Convenient Truth" because he just so happens to have this released right before the big November elections and just when people are beginning to position themselves for the 2008 presidential election. Second, I think he's a hypocrite since his family's money comes from Occidental Petroleum and tobacco--two of the biggest polluters there are! I bet he didn't mention any of this in the film, did he?

C'mon common sense tells you that pollution is ruining our planet. Even a dog has enough sense to do his business other than where he sleeps.

But men of power, don't ever seem to care about anything but making money. And the more money they have the more they are able to live in places where pollution isn't. So why should they care.

The real inconvenient truth is that people are base and selfish in their motives that they almost never do the right thing...even when it ultimately affects us all.

The Bush Administration has rolled back so much of the environmental progress made under Clinton Administration that we may have already lost any chance of reversing Global Warming.

And will Americans do anything about it...nope...we just too busy trying to make enough money to buy gas and go to Wal-Mart.

But here's the juice. China is pumping the atmosphere full of crap, because they have zero environmental rules (of course this is one of the reasons they can make things cheaper) and guess what....all that filth will eventually find its way over the US and Canada.

And what if it begins to alter our climate and turns large swaths of our nation into desert??

I love the answer that says it's "lies, lies, lies". He should know about lies since that's all The Republican administration has gives us since Chicken George took office.. To answer your question now I'd have to say it's about time Americans really look into the matter while it is still correctable. Anyone, especially the conservaTARD that thinks it's all lies, doesn't think global warming is taking place at an excellerated pace because of mankind is not in a realistic world.

The message presented that human generated co2 must be stopped and steps taken to scrub the atmosphere of human generated co2 is presented concisely. The time Gore spent on personal vignettes could have been devoted more to the topic however.
