I've lumped 'em together in areas of close proximity (but in no specific order otherwise)
1. Chinatown / Gastown / Sun yat Sen Gardens (there's a night market on Keefer in Chinatown that's neat)
2. North Shore, either Grouse Mtn or Capilano or Lynn Canyon (amazing views, mountains, etc)
3. Granville Island, (public market, artisans) Kits Beach, ("beautiful people") Vancouver Musuem, Maritime Museum
4. Stanley Park, Aquarium, 2nd / 3rd beach (a massive urban park, great beaches, amazing aquarium w. whales, fish, Amazon jungle)
5. Commercial Drive - hippies, stoners, dykes, Italians, Portugese and yuppies all mixed together.. good shopping and eats
6. English Bay / West end - gaybourhood, lots shopping eating, great sunset spot
7. Downtown / Robson St / Canada Place - it's Canada Day on sat, so there'll be stuff goin on at Canada Place ('the sails').. Robsons got lots of shopping, and all the chi chi stores (on or around Robson like Betsy Johnson, Bebe, Chanel, etc)
that aughhta be more than one human can accompish in one weekend, eh

We've had awesome weather lately so hang out at the beach, maybe go for a walk in Stanley Park. Downtown is fun. One of my favorite things to do is hang out at the art gallery and people watch.
Stay the HELL away from Granville if you want to go to clubs. I like Club 23 and The Lotus though you do have to deal with a bit of sketch to get there. Go with friends. Celebrities is supposed to be super awesome but I have yet to go. Club nights of interest: Organix, Skank...er, I mean Sanctuary and Sin City (fetish night, no street clothes). I dunno if The Lotus is still doing Big Trouble but the ever infamous Lotus Long Weekend is held on the Sunday night of every long weekend.

Instead of Capilano Suspension bridge (which can be quite pricey), go to Lynn Canyon. It is off of the number 1 hwy in North Vancouver and is FREE!
