I live in Ontario, Canada and the local boarding fees (inclusive) are around $400-600 depending on facilities. Pasture board can be as little as $250

Here in the midwest it depends if you work at a show barn or just a private owned or a boarding facility. At a show barn, grooms get paid about 8.00-10.00/hr due to all the work involved caring for show horses. If all you do is feed and or clean stalls the pay is lower because you have less responsibility. Grooms that travel also get travel pay and get their hotel rooms paid for ( if they get to sleep in a hotel) and are paid a daily amount for food in cash. The owners also may tip the grooms for a job well done, ie; horse groomed and well turned out. This is a very rewarding field, but not glamorous and you won't get rich doing it, but for personal satisfaction,it just doesn't get any better.

depends on how many horses, how much time and location.
IL one place to do stalls and feed Sunday morning, lunch at noon then feed 3X Monday and do stalls and a few other jobs I got $80/'weekend' for 8-13 head.
There's other places that's full time and not as much $ for hours worked. $1100 mo at one place in AL 7 days a week for 30-35 head plus stalls and whatever else got done. That wasn't all cash either and didn't include taxes taken out.

And moose a LOT of people have horses that don't ever feed them. They hire people to do it. Place in AL the owners couldn't reliably tell which horse was which - they never did the hands on stuff. A lot of people couldn't pick their horse out of a herd of 2 with one bay and one chestnut.

i usually got paid about $6'hr to do chores. feeding and hay and water. That is in Missouri. If you want a job in the horse industry, the best place is equistaff.com. it is free and it covers all disciplines. I fed about 25-30 head. I am now proud to say that I am running my own training business. I do riding lessons, behavior modification, gait modification and driving training. brookshorsetraining.iceryder.net

She doesn't have to pay me. I do it for free and feed one Horse daily until her Father gets back from Germany.
I feed the Horse 1/2 bale of hay and one bucket of sweet feed.

You know that sweet feed tastes good:)

The ranch i go do doesn't pay me to feed the horses. if your looking for a price you get payed, well it just depends on the barn.
