If someone could, tell the future, they would have to be able to tap into "god like energy". Considering that ones own brain seems to be made of this type of energy, it does not seem like an impossibility. I don't think many people are trained to do this, though. Some people who practice meditation for hours a day, claim to be able to tap into such a world.

The closest I have ever come to seeing the future, was when I felt I was going to break a tooth and a few seconds later, POW ! I broke a tooth. I never understood it and wrote it down as a coincidence. One other thing, I should mention, I was blaming god, for making sugar such a dangerous substance, when it happened. True story !

I don't know of any genuine psychics, but I have heard of a few who have donated their time to help solve crimes: Pam Coronado from Oxnard, California is one that comes to mind. See web page 1 below. Another person, I read about, that seemed to be able to, at least in a limited way, was a man by the name of Edgar Cayce (1877-1945)

What do you want to know about the future ? Maybe you can ask it on "Yahoo! Answers. Sometimes you don't have to be a psychic to know what is going to happen; you just have to have some common sense. For example, If you plan to go to a gunfight without a gun, it would be safe to predict that you will not be coming back.

The question is extremely personal to those that have and do not have belief. Even in the deepest of skeptical minds there is a tiny ounce of doubt.
I believe that there is always a possiblity of (not so must as fortune telling but) a reading into positive energies. Energy is every where, it cannot be destroyed; it can onlybe transformed. Does this in some manner mean that energy has intelligence? That's the real question. I believe that there are people who reflect images and emotions from another plane. Is that looking into the future - who's to say. Personally I have experienced that there is in fact people that possess certain gifts. Somethings simply do not have an explanation. Yes I believe!

I believed in my mother because I saw her do it for real several times. She was just an ordinary woman who happened to be my mother, and who could, very rarely, tell us something that always happened. It was spontaneous and she would say she didn't even know why she said it, but it always came true. The one event I remember most was when we were leaving a friend's house one night, and she suddenly said (as I was backing out of their driveway) "There's going to be a murder and we're not coming back here." Well, a few months later, there was a murder there. Our friend's husband decided to move his uncle and a nephew onto their land and give them a house. The uncle shot and killed the nephew.

I don't know what to believe. I've never had a psychic reading before but you need to keep an open mind, but also a skeptical one. Don't get carried away as they might be ripping you off.

"Your here, because you......*eyes closed*......want something". Listen to what their saying, is it common sence? Is it something, anyone could guess?

Unless the prediction or reading is something very specific that noone could know, their just another David Blaine or any other mindfreak. Don't get me wrong, these guys are good at what they do, but not psychics.

I went to a fortune teller at a street fair and she told me that I was doomed to a life of hardship and toil. And so far she has been right.

First, learn how to spell 'psychics' and 'Pennsylvania.' Second, I don't believe in anyone that can tell the future. Only God can do that.

I don't for the most part, beleive in psychics. I do, however, know that God will, in certain instances, tell people things.
