All you do is pretend to kick the ball, fall on the ground and pretend to be in pain! Then two minutes later, jump up like you were never hurt and repeat for 90 minutes!!!!!

You need to have alot of strength in your legs, and if you sign up for a summer league people can teach you. To strengthen up you legs jog up hill if you have any around or try to get where you can jog a mile or two with out getting winded also so leg lifts to strengthen your stomac mussles. basic skills include traping the ball and passing the ball which means to stop the ball with you leg or foot and kick it to the person or at least close to them placement will make the difference(accurcey). good luck and have fun. If your pretty young you don't have to run the mile or two if your a teen or older it will help you alot.

Soccer is everywhere now. Find out at your city hall recreation department. Everyone starts as a beginner, every sport. Lots of constant running, kicking a ball.

If you sign up to a team they'll have practice and you'll learn. It is fun, I play it. My boyfriend taught me to play but it isn't really hard to learn... Not an easy sport to play, but not hard to learn the rules.
So what if she's American? It doesn't make a difference what she is. I'm American and I can play it, and I haven't a clue what goes on in baseball or football and they're American sports. Maybe she's just not into watching sports.
