I think vitamin B6, or B12 might help.

Dear one, I'm sorry you don't want to hear anything except a positive response, but I must tell you: there is no such drug that is not also loaded with excessive risk. See, in order to "zone out", you need a very powerful drug...that's just the way we humans are built. And all substances that are that powerful - the legal and medical terms are both "psycho-active" - are controlled substances. It's simply because they're very, very dangerous. Not knowing a thing about proper dosage and about drug interactions, you'd essentially be stepping off a skyscraper without looking and hoping to land on something that'll save your life. Is oblivion worth that risk?

Try the health food stores. Some carry combantions of herbs designed for moods.
Maybe some quite time to yourself with no tv, music or any other kind of stimulation may work better than a pill.
Take time out for yourself...I like to soak in a tub full of fizzy bath balls, have a glass of cool water to drink, lights out and soak. Then when I wake up in the morning, things don't look as bad and I want to be with people again, and I am happy.

It's call Rescue Remedy by Bach. Its flower essences. I know that sounds crazy but it works. I have told several friends about it and they thank me daily. Rescue Remedy, it fits is name. I'm going through menopuse and well shall I say anything else. It makes everything ok. It will not zombie you out it will just make everything OK. Find it at you health food store. Only use 3 drops under the tongue. Wait 30 minutes and if you do not feel better do 3 more drops and no more than that at a time or you are just wasting your Rescue Remedy. I hope life turns out well for you......peace and blessings.

believe it or not, the fireweed, Epilobium angustifolium, Chamaerion angustifolium, Chamaenerion angustifolium - these are different spellings- can get you feel happy to the degree of euphoria if u drink it as tea instead of water. it will make u pee a lot, which is actually good for u, to clean from inside all your sorrows. u will see the change, it is not placebo and it is not unhealthy, at least not more than tea. i am clueless whether it can be bought or not, but it grows in quantities at forest clearings everywhere around world.
i wouldnt recomend st johns wort, because if u drink alot of it and get exposed to sunshine, you may get very sick. basically, it may help you with some health issues but i would never say that it is supposed to change mood specifically. i think that people who say it dont speak out of experience, but they rather just read or heard it somewhere. it can relieve stomachache due to stress or worries, so if this is your problem, go for it, though
LOL at Bachs essences, it is placebo (well, placebo CAN work, and nobody denies that) they shun double blind tests for a good reason and their web pages are full of botany blunders, at least what i have seen must have been written by somebody who are absolutely illiterate in botany, but call themselves herbalist experts nevertheless
for making you feel like a zombie, i recomend spending more than 24 hours at the computer at one go and then go to work (did this when i had to write my thesis)

The point of life IS to feel!! don't' try ' not to feel'. Pacific islanders had a drink called Kava-kava. it s some kind of pepper plant you can get it in liquid .. doesn't taste very good, probably not what your looking for. i saw a 60 minutes where people were doing 'shots' of it. YUK! most health food stores carry it. I don't think it will make you spaced out, though. when ever i've taken benadryl that made me feel spaced out, but i didn't take it for that reason.
just deal with life, it sucks for everyone, somehow.

Losing that amount of weight in such a little amount of time really isn't healthy. It's also not practical. Under perfect conditions, you'd only lose about 50-70 lbs.
But if you want to slim down;
-If you don't already drink eight, try to drink two more glasses of water than you'd normaly drink each day.
-Walk for an hour, nonstop, each day
-Eat a large breakfast- which should include large amounts of; fruit, grain, vegetables.
-Find out what your BMR(Basal Metabolic Rate) is, and try not to consume more calories than that, daily.
-Build muscle; 1 pound of muscle consumes 35-50 calories a day.
-Try not to eat unnatural snacks(chips/candy) that contain more that 5g of sugar/fat. And absolutely NO trans fat

I know of many medications that can help, however, they only work for awhile and you must take them continuously.
Find a Health store that sells various herbs that can take the edge off your mind. Natural remedies often work although take a long time to begin to show their true potential. Talk to the people in the health store to see if they can be of help.
