This could be your anti virus.

Bring up Task Manager (Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, click "taskmanager"). On the processes tab, click the "CPU" label to bring "System Idle process" on top.

Wait for a few seconds and see which program comes up on top when the system locks up. This is the process which is currently using maximum CPU time and is most probably causing the problem.

Run task manager and sort by cpu find out which process is taking the cpu during the freeze up and unintall the applcation related to that process.

it's probably spyware or adware....hogging up resources

download ad-aware

and anti-virus program (norton, mcafee, or AVG Free Edtion <<
yeah and check your task manager
hold (ctrl+alt+del)

clean up disk space do a defrag , ck security settings , ck internet connection if still have trouble e-mail me maybe i can help more
