This morning a 12 year old boy died on the Rock'n'Roller Coaster at MGM in Florida and pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigation is now being done to find out how he died but he was alone. Earlier this year a 4 year old died from another ride in the park along with a 49 year old woman. All deaths seem related for non of the dead was thrown from the two rides. Would you still go to a Universal Studios Park or MGM after that? They are both the same basic thing.

That is so sad. I still would go. I mean. When it's your time to go you go. It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing. I know everyone is thinking why a 12 year old and why a 4 year old. It was before there time. No it was not before there time. God is in control. Not us. Just because we do not understand his plan and his will doesn't mean that it was not his plan and his will.

Yes, my family goes every 2-3 months. More people die from auto crashes than amusement park rides. Life is full of chances. Every time you get in a car and go somewhere, you could get clobbered. But we go everywhere in cars all the time.

The ride with the boy and the lady was Mission To Mars. It is really intense. Both had a hidden physical problem that no one knew about. IF they knew, they would have not gone on the ride.

The Disney people are very professional in handling these situations. They stay with the family as long as it is necessary.

Yes because there's an even greater chance of dying while driving a car, than there is in an amusement park. As geeky as it sounds, when I'm on line waiting for a ride, I read that guidelines sign and it says things like if you're pregnant, have motion sickness, heart disease, and other things, to not ride the ride. How was he there alone? That's not a good sign, either.

I think I would take my chances. I work at Disneyland and so I get in for free anyway. If I don't feel like staying I can just leave at any time. Disneyland has been open fifty years and how many have died in those years. How many millions have gone on those same rides before anyone has actually died? I rest my case.

Tragic, yes....but only related in the sense that all probably had an underlying (and undiagnosed) medical condition.
Their deaths could have occurred during any kind of activity that caused stress on the body. You can't blame Disney, or the ride itself, for their untimely deaths.
It was just an unfortunate turn of events for these people.

These people must have had underlying heart conditions of some sort. if they were not thrown from the rides, then the problem was physically within them, and therefore not because of the ride itself, so it is no more dangerous to me now than it ever was.

It relies upon on your point of view. Disney isn't something like Six Flags. It can provide lots greater beneficial than basically rides. there is consistent entertainment, rides, and shows. it is likewise unlike you pay that for on a daily basis in case you're travelling there. greater days are in basic terms some additional funds consistent with day after 3 days. in case you reside for a week, this is in basic terms like $38 consistent with day. Then, of direction, you could continually purchase them for much less from a valid less costly fee ticket broking service. To get the terrific deal, terrific fee ticket, see my source. Tickets fee a similar, despite if in a equipment. extremely, the costliest thank you to get tickets is to purchase from Disney which you need to do in case you get a equipment. yet is it nicely worth it? For me, confident. we extremely purchase Annual Passes another year and choose for 2-3 10 journeys (at times 4-5) consistent with bypass. and those are around $500 each and each. of direction, that incorporates hopping and parking and you get mark downs. yet i hit upon it greater beneficial than nicely worth it. FYI: you do no longer ought to purchase foodstuff at Disney; they allow you to usher on your guy or woman. basically positioned it in a small mushy-sided cooler and keep it in a locker till you're waiting for a picnic lunch.

I've never been a fan of roller coasters to begin with! These poor souls probably had medical conditions no one was aware of.

Yes, I would still go. For the same reason I still drive on the freeway and swim at the swimming pool and fly on airplanes. People can die anywhere at any time for any reason.
