Most of us tolerate a lot of things, hold on too long to others, allow fear to keep us bound in our lives that if given the opportunity or choice you would get rid of it, free ourselves and just be.

I think at this moment in time if I could get rid of anything in my life right now it would be fear. It seems that fear creates drama for anyone involved. When people are running on fear their behavior changes. Instinctively they start looking out only for themselves. I understand that this is a natural thing for a human to do. Get themselves automatically right into survival mode. I think for myself that I need to constantly make a decision that I will not let fear rule my life, my attitude or my behavior. This takes a lot of practice. When I get to that place I'll let you know. The other thing I try not to do is let other people's fear and drama inter-lap into my little spot in the world. (not always an easy task).
F E A R can be interpreted as (F)alse (E)vidence (A)ppearing (R)eal. People create entire senarios in their mind about situations that aren't even real because they feel a need to figure iit all out. I just hope that God knows what he's doing and try to live my life as simply as possible. I still have a lot to learn about dealing with fear in my life.

The teacher's "curse", all the clutter in my home and classroom. We tend to hold on to crap that we think is going to be useful, or that others have given us. If I could just finally get organized, the way I used to be in college, then I'd have more free time to really do all that I want to do when I get home.

I've gotten started, but it's still just out of my reach. Hopefully, I'll get there soon.

without consequences? I'd get rid of my bills. My anniversary is Monday and because of so much house repair that we have done this year, we can't aford to go away. So if I could get rid of my bills that would help tremendously.

Yeah the fear of the bank coming back and taking my house, the only one I have at the moment- that keeps me bound to pay... :-)

Dear virtuous,

If I could get rid of one thing in my life, it would definitely be sin! My desire is to be obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ (God), but I often fail Him. I do not put the blame on others, situations, or the devil, but on myself. I want to be pleasing to God because He is so Great and Holy. He has blessed me with so much and I never want to take Him for granted. Think about it--in America most people have a home, plenty of food, water to bathe in, and medicine if we become ill. In other countries, these blessings are not available. I thank the Lord for giving me eyes to see and ears to hear and legs to walk. However, the most precious gift of God is the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible. We would have no idea of where we came from or who God is without God's word! And in America most people have access to a Bible! How wonderful that is!

My health. Because I can no longer stand the awful pain that I have been in for the last 6 years. If I could I would be a whole lot better and not have to take pain medication again.

Just one thing? I don't think I can name just one. I would get rid of all my extra weight that is making my diabetes stay where it's at; get rid of my diabetes (had it for 39 years and get sick of it sometimes); and get rid of the clutter in my house. Can I also name people that I can get rid of without consequences? I have quite a few of those I could name! lol

I would say my cat - I know it sounds awful, but we weren't ready for an animal and it was willed to us when my husband's grandfather died. I've finally reached a time in my life where I have the financial security and ability to up and go whenever I want, but I can't - because of the cat - and that's kind of frustrating. But what can you do? It's not just an animal, it's a piece of his grandfather, and you can't just give that away. I love her, but it's like having a kid (which I'm not ready for either).

I know this sounds awful, but several years ago I was very seriously ill and my mothers family treated me very badly. If I could get rid of those nasty people from my life and just let them go it would make me a much happier person.

I never asked to suddenly find myself in need of a kidney transplant nor did I ever expect my family to treat me as badly as they did. It still hurts me emotionally to this day.

Cigarettes! The consequence I could do without is withdrawals. But good health is a wonderful long term consequence!

I would like to get rid of 75 pounds without changing anything. That would be nice. I've really held on to it too long.
