Antibiotics kill the natural bacteria ("flora") in the gut that help you digest the foods you eat. So, anything you eat or drink could potentially upset your stomach. Also, Omnicef is partially broken down in the liver, as is alcohol. That means that you will likely feel the effects of the alcohol after consuming less than usual. From personal experience, the only negative effects I have had from mixing alcohol and antibiotics is getting drunk on less.

Having a bit of alcohol is alright when taking anti depressants. Just do not drink alcohol at the same time as you take your medication, which i can see you wont since u take the med in the morning and want to have a drink at night. Also do not drink every day, make it an occasion. I have drank before and nothing bad happened at all, i took my zoloft and xanax in the morning and drank in the evening.

im not sure about that but it may cause the antibiotic to be less effective check with your doctor to be sure
