How about a love hate thing?
Hungry and I am going to love to have something, heck almost anything to eat, the key being not to down a whole box in five minutes, or there would be disasterous results.
Yet mentally I can see developing a unhappy association...
Still isn't it possible to have it carry you away to other places, remembering the days before imprisonment, when you'd enjoy Junior Mints with friends while watching the newest blockbuster, or picking up a classic family video, say "Parenthood" and on the way out picking up a box of the Juniors at the cashier stand to go with your video night at home, curled up on the couch with your sweetie...
Maybe acheive some level of acceptance instead of a bitter resentment about something that is out of your control to change?
I'd certainly prefer Junior Mints to butterscotches for eternity.... and if they threw something as vile as circus peanuts into the well with me, I'd use those nasty buggers to build a linkin log type ladder to get the heck out. Which i guess would be the one failing of the mints... that they just aren't enough like linkin logs.

Being stuck in a well is a very unpleasant situation. Humans learn to associate things like foods and smells with good or bad experiences. Many people like the smell of coffee because it reminds them of mornings at home, usually stemming from childhood.
Children undergoing cancer treatment are often given something like orange lifesavers or black jellybeans during treatment to keep them from associating everything they ate that day with the discomfort of the treatment. Before this was commonplace, many cancer patients developed severe and widespread food aversions that caused eating disorders later on.
Given that information, I'd have to say that if I ever got out of the well I'd probably never want to see, smell or taste junior mints - possibly anything with chocolate and/or pepperment - ever again.

Jr Mints? Why not chocolate chip cookies?
In any case,I think that I would have to say that if I am stuck in a well with no chance of ever getting out (you did say forever) Then I wouldn't eat them anyway because what kind of life would I have by myself? No friends,no family,nothing...Just me and a lifetime supply of Jr Mints.
I think I'd rather starve to death. So,I'd have to say "Stick 'em where the sun don't shine!!"

I think I would grow to hate something you get stuck eating everyday for how ever long? I grew up very poor and my mom made us fried bologna with grits or oatmeal everyday how gross. After 2 whole years of eating that crap 5-7 times a week...the thought of it alone now makes my stomach turn.....

I would love them until I got out. Then I would never want to see them again because they would remind me of being stuck in a well.
