does any one know of any schooling horse shows around the bay area? i want to find some for a friend in the bay area. thanks

Fall fairs always have simple show for riders. Your local feed, supply and tack stores will also know as they probably have been asked to sponsor classes as will the local vets.

Try to find a copy of the New England Equine Journal. They can be found at most tack shops. They have lists of shows in that area. Also most shows put show bills in area tack shops as well. Contact local stables to find out about shows

there used to be some once in a while in Watsonville. It's been 8-9 years since I've been there. Seems like there was a few other places too but can't remember off hand. But Watsonville at the fairgrounds I seem to remember some small shows.

Go to the USDF or USEF web site and look there for a list of some schooling shows. Also try the local horse magazines -- they always list them.
