I think those chunky ones that both men and women wear are the ultimate in ugly

I go to school in Jacksonville Florida and the majority of students wear sandals - not those leather things - but "flip-flops" with two straps and foam soles. They wear them in the rain, with jeans, when it's cold. Ridiculous. I don't see how people can stand to walk around in them. After half an hour, my feet would be killing me.

not me! i LOVE sandals!! i have 30 different pairs/colors! i even wear em in the rain. the only time sandals are ugly are when they are on ugly feet!

I think flip flops look really good. They comfortable, easy to wear and stylish. The only mistake women make is that they wear them until they get so worn out. As long as they look new and they stand out, they look great!

Not me, I love my Birkenstocks. Sandels give me an excuse not to wash my socks... yeeehaww!
