I told her mom and she said she wanted to talk to her daughters daddy about it and I told her not to say anything until she talks to her daughter first because I am afraid he would take it out on the baby. You don't want to make acusations on something that might not have happened but I told her not to send her back over to his house untill she knows for sure what happened.

First, talk further with your grand daughter, in a way so as not to lead her to any particular answer, and find out the context (was he wiping her bottom after using the bathroom? bathing her? checking her for an infection? Were they innocently wrestling? Were they playing? Was it on a swing or slide - accidentally? etc.). Also ask her where the term "tom tom" came from.
If you feel there is a potential problem after this, then tke her to a doctor for an exam, or contact childrens services. (Doctor will contact childrens services himself if upon examination he feels it is warranted.)
Good luck.

Believe your grandchild. Like the saying goes "out of the mouth of babes" What does a 3 year old know about someone touching her privates? She did'nt just make that up. Confront, not the dad, but the mother. Then report him.

Tell the police and if you are brave enough, confront him. If he gets aggressive then definitely tell the police right away. It might also be a good idea to tell her mother about it if she is around.

Get off of the computer and investigate!!!!!
Take her to a doc, or the ER and they will help you to determine if she has been abused. What ever you do don't ignore it, if he father didn't really do anything he will not object to the investigation.

the best thing about childhood is innocence. because out of that comes genuine honesty. ask her daddy what he pinched.

Check into it ASAP. Kids often say things that aren't true, but you won't know unless you check into it.
