Empire Strikes back is my favorite. It was dark and twisted with an ending that was bad for the good guys. How often does that happen? Yoda is introduced and Luke meets his dad and gets his butt kicked. The duel between Luke and Vader was awesome you can easily see how much bigger and stronger Vader was than Luke but you also could see a glimmer of what Luke would become.

There are alot of great characters but I have to go with Luke Skywalker. The sheltered farmboy who not only saves the universe but is basically charged with rewritting what it is to be a Jedi. He was the average kid next door kinda guy who was thrust into extrodinary circumstances. Yeah, Han Solo is "cooler" than Luke but ask any kid coming out of the theater who they wanted to be and all of them said Luke.

Oh and Malakai the Dark One, I hate to break it to you but Luke took the Storm Trooper armor from TK-421.

Anakin Skywalker. The entire set of six movies is about him. Yes, in the original three, the focus seemed to be more on Luke and Leia, but really, as Darth Vader, he was the main character. When writing a story, a novel or screenplay, the main character always has a fatal flaw that he must over come to succeed at the end. Think of all six movies, as one movie, Anakin as the main character. His fatal flaw is his blind passion. He loves Padme so much that he is blind to his own descent into the Dark Side of the Force at the end of Revenge of the Sith. Finally, in Return of the Jedi, he over comes his own zealousness, sees what he has done, and does the only thing he can to set it right. He picks up Emperor Palpatine and throws him into the core of the unfinished second Death Star. Luke doesn't save the day at the end, Anakin does.

I think what I like about Anakin the most, is just how human he is. More than any other character in the series, Anakin is the one that I empathize with the most. He is so willing to do anything for the ones that he loves, even turn to the Dark Side of the Force and serve the Sith.

The Empire Strikes Back.

The end leaves you wondering (if you haven't seen Jedi) what will happen to the heroes next. They are down and out. One of their own has been captured by their enemy. Finally, there is a major plot twist that no one would have expected at the time. It is nearly a perfect movie.

My favorite character? Darth Vader....easy. He is one of the coolest villains around. He's evil, ruthless, and very powerful. Yet, you come to find out that he has an inner struggle. His past troubles him, and he eventually earns redemption.

For the movie, I'd have to say "Revenge of the Sith." It's the ultimate ending to the ultimate saga! Plus, I still get misty eyed when Obi-Wan tells Anakin, "You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you." (please excuse me..I have something in my eye)

For the character, I'm sorry but I'll have to go with the old cliche Boba Fett. I mean, just look at him! He's the ultimate bad-a** (well, maybe next to Vader)! Plus, learning more of his background from Episode II makes me like him more!

My favorite star wars character is Yoda. He is very smart and wise plus he is short just like me. I think he really guides the Jedi well and helps them. I also really like Amidala because of how she is a strong woman.

Yoda. He always has the best advice. He kicks @$$, too. Like his one good line from the last movie. Only one, but it was was good enough to be the best line of the movie... "You must train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose." Of course, Empire Strikes Back was full of Yodaisms but none so pertinent as that line.

Stormtrooper 457F3Y
He was the guy that Luke knocked out and stole the armor from in Episode 4, allowing him to get to the princess.

If it wasn't for him that movie would have stalled in it's tracks.
