I'm agianst telling about users! MOSTLY they are only harming themselves, and if they are overcoming their addiction the stigma is only harmful.

Dealers and manufacturers, on the other hand are scum! The chemicals emitted in the production of Meth are not only explosive, they are also extreemly hazardus to human health. And by producing or pushing this poison in neighborhoods, they are destroying families!!

Seems reasonable to inform the neighbors from the neighbor's perspective, but it's definitely a violation of the previous meth user's rights. People have a right to start over without have their reputation ruined.

I think it would be subject to abuse as is the sexual offender requirement, anyone can enter a neighborhood and start a rumor and destroy a persons life. If it is only done through law enforcement and anyone else is prosecuted for providing false information it could be an effective deterrent for people who care about their reputation, however most people who are addicted to drugs of any type do not care about anything including reputation.
