is it easier for you to swear/get mad at/yell at/insult, etc your family and bf/gf than a stranger at the store?

When you hurt the one that you love, emotions are highly involved on both sides. Both you and the person you are hurting will be affected in one way or another, and like all similar situations, there will be serious consequences to follow. When dealing with a stranger, however, there is no history and/or very little (if any) emotions involved at all. Sure you may insult a stranger in one situation, and anger may ensue on one or both sides because of your actions. Nevertheless, for the most part, they will not carry that with them for the rest of their life (and perhaps not even the rest of the day for that matter).

It is true. Sadly, so, I'm afraid. With strangers we hold, or bite our tongues, mostly we don't know how they will handle an outburst. They could have a gun, knife, or simply have a bigger temper than we do. But with our loved ones we blow up, lose it, yell, scream things we don't mean and deliberately hurt one another. Why? Because we assume they'll forgive us in the morning.

Unfortunately yes, because we take those we love for granted! You wouldnt talk to a stranger like you would someone you know, as they have no bearing on your life.

Try to keep it to a minimum, remember, forgiving is easy, most of the time, its the forgetting that the hardest!

I think so, because you know them better than you know some stranger at a store.

yeah u would get made at family, because you know them well and u know u love each other too much to hate them forever, u have background and memories to suport your love, with a stranger you have no memories to hold up love and once you hurt them once theyll probably hate you forever, thats y u dont want to do it

sure because you feel safer with someone you know than you do at a stranger. it seems that is the opposite of the way it should be but what do you know that is more screwed up than human beings?

It's because you know the one you love(if they love you, of course) will forgive you...not matter what. After all, that's part of what love is all about.
