Computer is running very slowly and at least three times during my work day I have to reboot.

I'd start with virus scanning, spyware scanning and defragmenting my hard drive. If that doesn't help see if you can get more memory or an upgraded processor. Also, see if you can clean the inside of the computer. I've seen many very slow computers because all the parts inside were covered with dust, which acts as insulation and restricts airflow.

I'm not sure what OS you are running. I would just try to run in safe mode to see if you are still getting poor performance. If not I would start looking for spy-ware. If you still have problems check to make sure you have enough disk space. Finally if it's not that then a memory upgrade may be the answer. There are a lot of other things I would do but this is a start for you.

Has your IT staff gotten too much running at once.....?
check that info on the website link below-are you running your computers system cleanup tools often..?

try cleaning the processor fan with a can of air
