No. But if you want to use them for commercial purposes you have to give them credit, link back, and ask. You definitely can't claim them as your own.

One interesting thing about copyright, is that it doesnt have to be claimed.. (this dates back to when it wasnt such a big issue as now) so technically you shouldnt right click and save without permission, but in practice if copyright isnt claimed on content you'd be very unlikely to be successfully prosecuted for it.

I do it all the time for use on my website. I think that its permissible as long as you're doing it for private use, not reselling the pix and the picture or design, etc is not copyright material usually if it is you will see something like this "©".

Technically, it might be a copyright violation, but as long as it's for personal use, I think it's ok. I'm thinking, if I don't want people downloading pictures from my website, I just block that option.

If you're saving it for your personal viewing later, it is not illegal. If you are saving it to make another commercial work, then it is illegal.
