Definitely when I first have to do it. Raking the leaves gets you out to enjoy the autumn air and gets you a little exercise. It's "football weather" as we say in Ohio and it is invigorating and refreshing. But, as the season wears on and you are raking leaves for the umpteen time it is a real pain. Same goes for shoveling snow. It is fun the first couple of times, gets you in the seasonal mood for Christmas and such but by March you just hope the sun melts it for you as you slog out to your garage or mailbox.

No. Last year my husband and I put out over 50 bags of leaves for collection (yeah I have a lot of big trees in my yard) - thank goodness for the leaf blower. And snow.. I see plenty of that too but that is what a snow blower is for.. that actually can be fun especially when I crank the chute to send the snow flying over the house....

I used to hate raking leaves when I had a patio with a big tree over it. As far as shoveling snow, what is snow? It doen'st do that here.

I hate these chores so much that I am going to buy both a leaf blower and a snow blower if I have to go bankrupt in the process! Thanks.
